Greenwich Reindeer Festival 2016 Moves to New Location, Sam Bridge

The town tradition continues for the eighth year! From November 25 until Christmas Eve, Santa’s live Reindeer will take up residence in Greenwich.

On Friday, November 25, 12:00pm to 6:00 pm, head to the “We’re Back” Party at Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses!

At 12:00 noon, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open Santa’s Workshop with sponsors and various public officials in attendance.

Photos with Santa begin at 12:00 pm immediately following the ribbon cutting ceremony. Holiday Refreshments will be served. Face painting will be provided by Faces by Wells and Balloon Artists and everyone is invited.

This is a memorable opportunity to meet Santa and his reindeer and have your photo taken with Santa pets are welcome! With your photo purchase, receive a special Shop & Dine Greenwich gift bag filled with downtown Greenwich merchant information and special offerings redeemable at participating stores and restaurants in downtown Greenwich.

The “Pepsi Name the Reindeer Contest” will be going on again this year! Children can enter their favorite reindeer names in a ballot box at Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses. Santa Will draw the winning names December 20th. The Names will be displayed at Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses. Four winners and four winning reindeer names will be chosen.

Reindeer feeding times are 9:00 am and 3:30 pm, November 25 through December 23. Bring your child for a magical moment they’ll remember forever!

Please note: The Reindeer return to the North Pole December 23 at approximately 2:00 pm in order to prepare for their big trip on Christmas Eve! Photos with Santa stays until December 24, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
