The Woman’s Club of Greenwich is planning its annual “Appraisal Mania” event in a fitting setting, their historic club house at 89 Maple Ave.
The event is Greenwich’s own Antiques road show. What treasures might you have?
At just $10.00 per item, or $25 for three items, you can have your items appraised!
The appraisers are qualified to evaluate most items found in a home. If you do have an obscure object, they will consult with other experts.
Appraisers include Betteridge Jewelers (jewelry), Christina Pereito (Silver, Glass and China), Ronald Dupre (Rugs and Textiles), John Bridau (paintings), Mary and Terry Eletheriou (Oriental objects), Robert Martaus (Miliary and Civil War items), Joseph Kabe (18th and 19th century furniture), and The Happy Coin’s Chris Moran who will appraise coins.
The event runs from 10:00am until 3:00pm. There is ample parking behind the club house.
All profits benefit the philanthopiess of the Woman’s Club of Greenwich, including scholarships to Greenwich students through the Greenwich Scholarship Association and local organizations such as Abilis, Kids in Crisis and Greenwich Audubon and more.
(If the item is too large to bring with your, take a photo of the front and back of the item.)
