Aldair Garcia, 21, of 58 Weaver Street in Greenwich was arrested on Jan 27 after Greenwich Police served a warrant for his arrest. The warrant stemmed from an investigation surrounding harassment incidents between July 15, 2017 and Dec 15, 2017.

Garcia was taken into custody and charged with Harassment 2. He was assigned a court date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 29, 2018. His bond was set at $25,000, which he was able to post. He was released to his parents.

Greenwich Police are familiar with Mr. Garcia. On Nov 25 2015 he was one of three local men charged for their involvement in a melee in Chickahominy that involved several individuals.

The fight, which took place in the area of Holly Hill Land/St Roch Ave/Muskrat Pond Rd, culminated with one subject being knocked unconscious from a kick to the head by a Juvenile. Several individuals, including Garcia, then kicked, spat on, and removed the shoes and socks from the unconscious victim. The entire melee was captured on two separate cell phone videos which were later acquired by Greenwich Police.

All of the participants in the incident, including Garcia, were positively identified because of past dealings with the the Greenwich Police Department.
