On Jan 25 around 6:oo pm Greenwich Police along with GEMS responded to a residence on Sheephill Road on a report of a subject experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Police later determined that the subject was the victim in an assault.
According to Greenwich Police, investigation determined that the victim was struck in the face by the offender, Frank Stamberg, 58, of Sheephill Rd in Riverside, during an argument about the victim’s drug usage.
The victim was found to have a bloody mouth and the offender had a swollen knuckle
The victim was taken to Greenwich Hospital for treatment. The offender was charged with Assault 3 and released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court the next morning.
