Greenwich Police report there were two attempted residential burglaries on July 28.
There was a burglary Meadowcroft Lane that involved thieves entering with force.
Lt. David Nemecek said burglars kicked in a door and items were thrown about in the house, which is located off Lake Ave.
in a second incident, a home on Jofran Lane, located near Greenwich Academy was thwarted when a burglar alarm sounded. In that incident, a window was forced open. Nothing was taken.
