A group of ham radio operators led by Jon Pearlstein of the Stamford Amateur Radio Association held a “moon bounce” event from Bill Baker’s driveway in Riverside this weekend.
Using 30 foot antennas, they beamed signals to the moon, bounding them off to communicate with operators on the other side of the world.
It was a great success with almost 50 contacts made.
