On Monday Greenwich Police responded to Greenwich High School for what was initially reported as a car accident possibly involving drug violations.
When police arrived they learned there had been no accident, but that staff located marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia within a vehicle on school property.
Investigation revealed that Nadia Louisa Sotgiu, 18, of 13 Thornhill Rd in Riverside, was in possession of a multi-colored strip that tested for the presence of LSD.
Ms Sotgiu was arrested and charged with Illegal Possession of a Hallucinogen.
The teen was released on a Promise to Appear in Stamford Superior Court on May 8, 2017.
