Greenwich United Way will partner with Z Hospitality for what has become an annual “Week of Caring” from April 24-30.
Since 2006, Z Hospitality has hosted the fundraiser in Greenwich, raising more than $25,000 for the Greenwich United Way Annual Campaign.
“The Greenwich United Way is an immensely important local organization that facilitates solutions for those most in need,” said Adam Zakka, partner at Z Hospitality.
Greenwich United Way is the only organization in Greenwich that identifies unmet human service needs.
The organization’s mission is to achieve results through planning, fundraising and efficient investment in the community.
“The deadline to reach our Annual Campaign goal is June 30 and it’s important that we acknowledge Z Hospitality again this year for bringing us closer to reaching that goal,” said David Rabin, CEO at Greenwich United Way.
Rabin said a portion of proceeds from patrons dining at Terra, Mediterraneo or Eastend during the last week of April will help Greenwich United Way ensure that critical human service programs continue to receive funding.
“Last year we identified almost 12,000 people who live just above, at or below the poverty line,” Rabin continued. “These families need our help.”
Rabin urged people who aren’t able to dine at Terra, Mediterraneo or Eastendto make a donation directly to Greenwich United Way before the Annual Campaign deadline.
