Suman Mitra, 35, of 1397 King Street in Greenwich was arrested by Greenwich Police on April 24 after police determined a 911 call was falsely reported.
At about 4:20pm on Monday, Greenwich Police received a 911 call stating that an assault was taking place at a residence in Greenwich.
After responding to the residence, police determined that no assault had occurred.
After an interview at headquarters, Mr. Mitra was charged with Misuse of 911 System, False Reporting 2, Disorderly Conduct, Threatening 2, and Interfering with a Police Investigation.
Mitra’s bond was set at $1,000 and he was assigned a court date in Stamford Superior court on April 25, 2017.
