The Garden Club of Old Greenwich, celebrated its 90th anniversary at its annual meeting and awards luncheon at Riverside Yacht Club.
Frank Cantelmo, a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences and the Environmental Studies Program at St. John’s University received the Allen Kitchell Conservation award for “his day at the beach” kindergarten program of biometric environmental studies.
Richard Crawford and his students at Western Middle School received the Adelaide Radford Award is for achievement in junior horticulture for their work on the organic vegetable garden.
