On January 18, at about 1:30am Daisy Bongiomi was arrested by Greenwich Police Narcotics Section for Tampering with a Witness and Harassment 2.
According to Police, on Dec. 29, 2016, Bongiomi made numerous phone calls and texts to the victim asking her to “recant” a original statement obtained by the investigating officers on case # 1823, which was the same case involving Robert Wolterstorff, who was charged with Assault 2 and Sale of Narcotics on Jan 17. Wolterstorff was arrested after Greenwich Police conducted an extensive investigation into a near fatal heroin overdose on Dec 29, 2016. He is being held on a $100,000 bond.
According to Greenwich Police, Bongiomi blamed the victim for the incarceration of the suspect due to her providing police with her original statement.
Bongiomi, 21, of 8 Sheephill Road has a court date on February 1 in Stamford Superior Court, as does Wolterstorff. Her bond was set at $25,000 which, like Wolterstorff, she was unable to post.
