Craig Anthony Pestone, 41, of 11 Crawford Terrace in Riverside was arrested on Sunday after an incident on East Putnam Ave in Riverside.
Around 3:00am on Sunday, Greenwich Police observed Mr. Pestone driving his BMW X5 at a high rate of speed on Neil Lane by the Riverside Commons Shopping Center, and through the shopping center parking lot. Police detected the odor associated with the consumption of alcohol on Mr. Pestone who they said was slurring his speech. After failing to pass field sobriety tests, he was charged with DUI and Traveling Unreasonably fast.
Mr. Pestone was able to post his $300 bond and has a court date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 30, 2017.
