The Chinese Language School of Connecticut is holding their 15th annual Chinese New Year celebration on Jan 28 at Greenwich High School, in the student center.
The event, which runs from 11:00 am until 3:00pm, will feature an authentic Chinese buffet, Chinese music, dragon dance, professional and student performances, demonstrations and workshops for all ages.
There will also be arts & crafts activities and both a raffle and marketplace.
Event organizers say guest performers will include the New England Youth Symphony, Wesleyan Chinese Music Ensemble, and renowned global dancer Kaili Chen.
Calligraphy, crafts, Kung Fu and dance workshops will ensure that there is something for everyone.
The event is open to the public and organizers anticipate hundreds to attend from Greenwich and surrounding towns.
