On Sunday Dec. 18 around 9:00pm, Greenwich Police dispatch were notified there was a possibility of an intoxicated driver in Bruce Park, in a red older vehicle.
After Police located the car in Bruce Park and approached the car, they detected the odor of alcohol on the driver, Jesus M Lopez-Tapia, 18, of 305 Davis Ave in Greenwich.
Mr. Lopez Tapia failed to perform a series of standardized field sobriety tests to standard and was charged with DUI and Operating without a License. He was assigned bond of $250 and has a court date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 3, 2016.
