The Holiday Stroll, returns to downtown Greenwich for the eighth straight year on Dec. 3-4, and is jam packed with exciting and new highlights, not the least of which is the launch of the new community rewards app, GreenwichVIP.com.
GreenwichVIP.com, known as “the app of everything”, it puts the entire community into the palm of the consumer’s hands and gives each store the ability to share its unique rewards, VIP offers and review capabilities with its loyal customers, while attracting new users on the GreenwichVIP.com platform.
Some of the many special highlights during the Holiday Stroll include a live nativity scene complete with a camel, donkey, llama, cow and five sheep; in addition, there are numerous entertainment tents, food trucks, ice sculpture demonstrations, photos with Santa and of course, live reindeer.
Additionally, on Dec.3-4, Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom of Greenwich will host Shark Tank’s, Billy Blanks Jr., who will be teaching a free Dance It Out class each day.
The suggested donation of $20 per person will go to Kids in Crisis of Cos Cob. People can register and complete a waiver on the Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom of Greenwich website.
The Holiday Stroll and GreenwichVIP.com are working together with Google to “Put Greenwich on the Map” by promoting a hashtag, #greenwichlove, and encourage patrons and businesses to include #greenwichlove with each photo/video and in each holiday post to make the Stroll go viral.
Santa will be set up for the Reindeer Festival at Sam Bridge Nursery on North Street from Nov. 25-Dec. 24. People can take photos with Santa on his sleigh during the Stroll, with $5 from each photo going to benefit Kids In Crisis.
The Stroll begins at 10:00 am runs to 6:00 pm on Saturday, Dec. 3.
The Reindeer Festival and Holiday Stroll were developed by Tammi Ketler, TMK Events; GreenwichVIP.com was developed by EveryMerchant.com and Christine Georgopulo, owner of Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom of Greenwich. Ms. Ketler and Ms. Georgopulo are both on the Selectman’s Economic Advisory Council, and are always looking for ways to promote the Town and its businesses while providing exciting events and activities for the people of Greenwich and surrounding areas.
