Suitsupply has scheduled its grand opening for Thursday Oct. 27 from 6-9pm.
The transition of the historic property at 80 Mason Street from a former real estate operation into a store offering men’s suits and tailoring, took well over a year. Going further back in time the building was once a funeral home.
In January 2015 Suitsupply went before the Planning & Zoning Commission with their application to use the building as a store. There were issues involving parking and the Historic District Commission was consulted.
The end result is fortunate. A historic building dating back to the 1800s has been bestowed with love.
In recent months, the 6,200 sq ft building has been a hub of activity, with workers fashioning a front porch and landscaping.
Suitsupply is located at 80 Mason Street.
