Just after 4:00am on Sunday, Greenwich Police arrested Cynthia Rabanal-Vasquez, 33,of 46 Truman Street in Norwalk after a crash on Byram Road by Henry Street in which a 2014 Nissan Altima hit an unoccupied parked car and a utility pole.
According to Greenwich Police Lt. Kraig Gray, when police arrived on scene, Ms. Rabanal-Vasquez was hanging out of her Nissan which was rolling backwards. Her passenger was out of the car and standing on the curb.
A passenger in the car who was complaining of being injured was transported to the hospital for treatment.
According to Greenwich Police Rabanal-Vasquez was unsteady on her feet and smelled of alcoholic type beverage.
She was charged with Driving with a Suspended License, DUI, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane, and Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree.
Rabanal-Vasquez’s bond was set at $250. She has a court date in November 7 in Stamford Superior Court.
