Reda Abdullah Bouhaddada, 24, of 32 Lockwood Lane in Greenwich was arrested on Oct 2 at about 10:15pm.
On Sunday Greenwich Police initiated a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Old Orchard Rd and Sheephill Rd in Riverside. The officer on scene detected the odor of marijuana emanating from within the car. Additional Greenwich Police units were dispatched, and upon further investigation an amount of marijuana over 4 oz and drug paraphernalia were discovered within the vehicle.
It was determined that the driver, Mr. Bouhaddada was possession of a leafy green substance that tested positive for the presence of THC.
He was charged with Possession of marijuana over 4 oz, Possession with intent to sell marijuana under 1 Kilogram, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Operating a drug factory.
Bouhaddada was also issued a written warning for Failure to Stop for a Stop Sign. He was able to post his bond of $400 and released. He has a court date in Stamford Superior Court on Oct 11, 2016.
