Naloxone (aka Narcan) is an antidote for an opioid overdose. This presentation “Heroin & Opiate Use and The Benefits of Naloxone” includes an overview of opiate use in Connecticut and Greenwich with discussion on risk factors for opioid dependence and addiction.
Learn how to identify an overdose, administer naloxone, and take immediate follow-up recovery steps. This lifesaving training is appropriate for all community members.
On Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 12:00 to 1:00pm, speakers from Communities 4 Action and Silver Hill Hospital will give a presentation at the Greenwich Library, 101 West Putnam Ave.
