Chief James Heavey promoted three officers on Monday at the Greenwich Police Department.
Daniel Bucci and Craig Zottola were advanced to Detective.
Detective Zottola joined the Department in 2010 and Detective Bucci joined in 2011.
Peter Schmidt was promoted to Master Police Officer. MPO Schmidt joined the department in 2012.
Since becoming Chief in November of 2011, Chief Heavey has had the pleasure of promoting over twenty officers.
Chief Heavey said that the officers who were promoted have worked hard to earn these positions.
