To the Editor:
The State House of Representatives voted in favor of Justice Andrew McDonald by a slim margin 75 -74. On Monday, March 19th the State Senate will vote on Justice McDonald’s nomination.
This is a shout out to our Senator Scott Frantz to vote yes in support of Justice McDonald for the reason of his broad experience and qualifications including: 20 years in private practice handling all stages of litigation in federal and state courts at both trial and appellate levels; serving on the Stamford Board of Finance; serving as the Director of Legal Affairs and Corporation Counsel for the City of Stamford; prior to his appointment to the Supreme Court, serving as the General Counsel to the Office of the Governor for CT; serving as a member of the Stamford Board of Representatives where he began his public service career in 1993 and also as a State Senator where he served as the Senate Chairman of the Judiciary Committee for all eight years he was in the General Assembly.
Senator Frantz: please vote yes.
Thank you,
Monica Prihoda
