The GHS PTA is hosting a free event for parents and friends of the Class of 2018. The event is the SRO Red Carpet Social and Boutique on Friday March 9, 2018 from 5:30 – 7pm in the Galleria at the GHS Performing Arts Center.
SRO runs from Thursday March 8 through Saturday March 9 at 7pm in the performing arts center at GHS.
This event is held prior to Friday night’s performance of SRO (Standing Room Only) the senior class variety show that is written, directed, and performed by the seniors.
The event is a mingle among friends, past and present, and shopping event for graduation items and services. Several local vendors will be present including: Garden Catering, Micahaelangelo of Greenwich, Indulge Salon and Beauty Bar and the Greenwich High School Graduation Party Committee.
It is the PTA’s first attempt at this type of event. Many years ago, GHS held a parent fundraiser prior to the SRO performance. This year they are attempting to bring back this event but with a different bent.
The PTA is hoping that senior class parents will come and mingle with friends and begin the process of thinking about graduation.
Looking forward the GHS Graduation Party that takes place on graduation night at GHS, and 80% of the class typically attends the graduation party.
It is a free and safe event for senior students/graduates. The graduation party runs from 10pm – 2am with raffles, games and food for all. The graduation party is made possible through the contributions of friends and families of the graduating class.
