A Greenwich woman was arrested on Saturday after police recognized a woman who was walking on Mason Street as someone they knew to have active warrants.
The woman, Jeaterai Zuzim, 46, of Dearfield Drive in Greenwich was charged with Payment Card Theft, Less than $500 on a Revoked Payment card and Receipt from Illegal Use of a credit Card for an incident on October 18, 2017.
According to Greenwich Police Lt Slusarz, the victim was an employee of Cos Cob School. “Somebody apparently obtained her actual physical credit card and then went and made a couple purchases around Cos Cob.”
Slusarz said the total loss was under $100.
She was also wanted for Failure to Appear 2 in court for an incident Sept 25, 2017.
She was unable to post her $25,000 court set bond for one set of charges and $2,500 for the other, and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 12, 2018.
