Trouble for Local Woman Familiar to Greenwich Police

Greenwich Police arrested a local woman on warrant for a Jan 18 incident on Horseneck Lane, which resulted in DUI and Operating Under Suspension charges.

Miriam E Rodas, 38, of 17-11 Armstrong Court, was taken into custody on Thursday and processed.

Her bond was set at $75,000 and she was subsequently held at police headquarters.

She was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Feb 16, 2018.

In 2013, Greenwich Police arrested Ms. Rodas and charged her with Risk of Injury to a Child after she was found intoxicated, walking along Hamilton Avenue with her then four-year-old child.

According to the state Judicial Branch, in 2014 Rodas pleaded guilty to the Risk of Injury to a Child charge, a Class C Felony.

She was sentenced to 4 years jail, execution suspended after 45 days and 3 years probation.

In 2016 her probation was continued. There was a violation of probation in May 2017. She was committed to the Dept of Corrections and probation ordered.
