Greenwich Police arrested a Bridgeport woman on Wednesday, charging her with Larceny and related charges for allegedly stealing diamond jewelry worth about $35,000 back in August 2017 and using stolen credit card information to make fraudulent credit card purchase totaling about $1,000, including airline tickets.
The victim was a resident of Mountain Wood Drive in Greenwich.
The suspect, Nicker Brown-Cameron, of 159 Grove St in Bridgeport was charged with Criminal Attempt Larceny 2, Larceny 3, Credit Card Theft by Transfer, >$500 on Revoked Payment Card, Receipt from Illegal use of Credit Card, Identity Theft 1, and Criminal Impersonation.
Ms Brown-Cameron was arrested by warrant. The items allegedly stolen include a $15,000 diamond earrings, a $15,000 diamond tennis bracelet and $500 earrings.
Police say the victim reported the missing items in September and that Brown-Cameron pawned the items somewhere in Westchester.
Ms Brow-Cameron has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Valentine’s Day, Feb 14, 2018.
Her bond was set at $75,000, which she was able to post. She was subsequently released.
