Public Speaking Made Easy, a FREE Workshop presented by Richard Feder, is set for September 29, 2016 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at the Greenwich YMCA.
Many people feel uncomfortable thinking about talking before a group.
Giving a successful speech and enjoying the experience are learnable skills. This workshop presents ways to get comfortable speaking before a group and ways to improve the speeches you give.
This program covers how to:
-Avoid Embarrassment
-Turn a Lecture into an informal discussion
-Deliver a speech without notes
-Research your subject
-Organize your materials
-Making your audience feel listening to your talk was time well-spent
Richard Feder is a management consultant with thirty years of experience teaching people to deliver talks that are clear and persuasive. He has worked with many Fortune 500 companies including Kraft Foods, Citibank, Colgate-Palmolive, Campbell Soup, American Express, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Nestle, General Motors, the NBA, and the NFL. He has taught at the graduate schools of University of Connecticut and Pace University, and has a BA degree from Yale and an MBA from Harvard. He is the author of articles that have appeared in Training & Development, Advertising Age, and the Harvard Business Review.
