Around 5:15pm on New Year’s Eve Greenwich Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on a vehicle being driven by Marco Camargo, 28, of 71 Deleo Street in Stamford, after he was observed speeding on East Putnam Ave.
While Police were querying the driver’s registration, a motorist pulled up alongside officers and reported that Camargo’s Mercedes Benz was observed just moments earlier driving recklessly and changing lanes in an aggressive manner without signaling.
Camargo failed to complete field sobriety tests to standard. He was charged with Speeding and DUI. His bond was set at $250, which he was able to post. He was was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 15, 2018.
