Robert Woodbury, Jr, 28, of 44 Conyers Farm Drive in Greenwich was arrested on Dec 8 after he turned himself in on an outstanding warrant dated Dec 5.
Greenwich Police say investigation revealed that Woodbury was a suspect in an assault on Thursday November 2, 2017 at the Old Greenwich Social Club.
According to Lt Slusarz, Woodbury’s victim got hit in the face with a beer bottle.
“When police got there there, the victim said he’d been struck by an unknown male with a beer bottle,” Slusarz said. “He had an obvious injury to his face. Officers did a good investigation, talked to people, got surveillance footage, photographic lineups and ultimately got a warrant and Woodbury turned himself in.”
Woodbury was charged with Breach of Peace 2, and Assault 2. He was able to post his $5,000 bond and was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 22, 2017.
