Robert John Snyder, 51, of 97 Lewis Street was arrested on Wednesday and charged with Larceny 6 after Greenwich Police received a report from Whole Foods Market at 90 East Putnam Ave of a man shoplifting items from the hot food bar.
Upon arrival, officers located the suspect, who could not produce a receipt for the items that he had secreted into a bag prior to exiting the store.
Snyder was charged with Larceny 6.
He was unable to post his $100 bond and was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 13, 2017.
Mr. Snyder was recently arrested by Greenwich Police after he refused to leave 97 Lewis Street after being legally evicted. Further, police say Snyder and another resident screwed the front and back doors shut so that they couldn’t be opened, and did damage to the interior of the house.
