On Saturday morning at about 8:00am, Greenwich Police officers responded to 93 Hamilton Ave. on a complaint of a blocked driveway.
On Hamilton Avenue officers met with Timothy J. Widmayer, 24, of 11 Bryan Dr Montvale NJ, who said he had been driving and struck the curb. Widmayer said he had pulled into the driveway to change a tire.
As Police interviewed Widmayer, he appeared extremely lethargic, had slurred speech, red bloodshot eyes, and swayed while talking to officers. Furthermore, according to Greenwich Police Widmayer related that he was unaware of where he was.
After failing all field sobriety tests Widmayer was arrested for DUI.
He was released to the custody of his parents upon posting a $250 bond. Widmayer is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior court of August 19, 2015.
