The Garden Education Center is located at the Montgomery Pinetum Park, at 130 Bible Street in Cos Cob.
Established in 1957, the GEC continues to offer an informative selection of workshops, trips and lectures in horticulture, floral design and conservation for all skill levels, including professionals seeking Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System credits.
Each of these programs is taught by esteemed professionals in their respective fields. The public’s financial support has allowed this organization to enhance the community’s appreciation and enjoyment of nature through horticulture, conservation and the arts since 1957.
The GEC does not receive any funding from government sources. Income is comprised of membership and program fees, special events such as our Annual May Gardener’s Market and the Annual Greenwich Garden Tour, as well as our Annual Fund.
