Pet Pantry held its annual “Howl & Prowl” costume contest for dogs and their owners on Sunday at the Havemeyer building on Greenwich Avenue and a hearty crowd turned out despite a bit of drizzle.
Among the winners were family with a mermaid-themed “float” featuring a bubble making machine; a family of lucky dogs in yellow features, and a “chick magnet” and his followers.
The event featured food trucks a pet psychic, free pet caricatures, a bone bar, free samples and more.
Pet Pantry has two locations in Greenwich:
290 Railroad Ave in downtown Greenwich 1191 East Putnam Ave in Riverside.
Adopt a Dog is located at 23 Cox Ave in Armonk.
