Thursday Thursday at approximately 7:40pm, a marked Greenwich Police unit was heading down Greenwich Avenue when another car almost struck the police car by changing lanes incorrectly and failing to signal the lane change.
Greenwich Police initiated a motor vehicle stop and observed the driver, identified as Henry Lee Fong, 64, of 16 W William St, to have red blood shot eyes and slurred speech. Fong failed the Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Failure to Yse Signal, and Unsafe Passing. Fong was given a $250 bond which he could not produce. He was assigned a court date of July 24 at at Stamford Superior Court.
