Saturday was Greenwich High School’s homecoming football game against Westhill and the team continued their winning streak with a final score of 60-15.
Crowds of GHS students, alumni, and parents gathered on the bleachers to watch the event unfold.
“I’m so excited, you don’t even know!” said Victoria Fu, a GHS sophomore in pep band.
“It’s my last year at the high school, so I want to show school spirit,” said Anthony Neri, a GHS senior.
With the best viewing spots in the stadium, the cheerleaders shared their excitement as well. “This is my first homecoming game on varsity,” commented GHS cheerleader Kasey Kralik, a junior on the team. “It’s so great – hearing the crowd cheer with you. Everyone’s so into it.”
