Letter to the Editor from Hon. Scott Frantz, state senator; Hon. Mike Bocchino, Hon. Fed Camillo, and Hon. Livvy Floren, state representatives

As the Greenwich delegation to the General Assembly, we enthusiastically endorse Peter J. Tesei for First Selectman. Peter has a proven and quantifiable track record of success – in business, as a community volunteer with many non-profit agencies, in the Representative Town Meeting, as chair of the Board of Estimate and Taxation, and as First Selectman.

Connecticut is known as “the land of steady habits,” and no one exemplifies this motto more than Peter, a fifth generation resident. Peter knows the warp and woof of our Town and is also respected beyond our borders by his bipartisan Fairfield County mayor/first selectmen colleagues.

Under his leadership, Greenwich is a model of fiscal restraint and responsible municipal management. Property taxes have been kept low and predictable, employee pension and benefit plans have been analyzed and reformed, our public schools have been supported, and investments have been made in our infrastructure. All of this has been accomplished without shredding the safety net services necessary for our most vulnerable citizens.

On November 7, please join us in putting Greenwich First and voting for Peter J. Tesei.

Hon. Scott Frantz, state senator; Hon. Mike Bocchino, Hon. Fed Camillo, and Hon. Livvy Floren, state representatives
