Thomas W Kennedy, 51, of 1004 North Street in Greenwich was arrested on Wednesday and charged with Assault on a Peace Officer after allegedly pushing his parole officer toward the stairs around 5:30pm.
“He lost his temper and pushed the probation officer,” said Lt. David Nemecek.
After the incident, the suspect, Mr. Kennedy was transported to the hospital.
Kennedy’s bond was set at $25,00 and he was assigned a court date on Oct. 11, 2017 in Stamford Superior Court.
According to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website, Mr. Kennedy was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct on Jan 18, 2012 and given a year probation for a July 2011 incident in Greenwich. He was also found guilty of Unlawful Restraint 2nd degree on Sept 23, 2014 for an incident in Feb 2014 for an incident in Stamford.
He was found guilty twice for probation violations, once in May 2016 and again in Feb 2017 and sentenced to 6 months Jail.
In February 2017, he was found guilty of Threatening 2nd degree for an incident in Greenwich on Christmas 2014, and found guilty of Failure to Appear in court the following day. He was sentenced to probation.
