Saturday was the perfect day for the 2017 Wine + Food Festival by Serendipity at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park. World class culinary and musical talent was abundant and celebrity guest chefs included Mario Batali, Scott Conant, Alex Guarnaschelli and Adam Richman.

Friends had a chance to catch up while sampling delicious food, wine, spirits and beer. Also, there were cooking demonstrations, book signings and live interviews. The day ended perfectly with a performance by the band Train.

Giving back to the community was at the core of the festival and the primary beneficiary was the Mario Batali Foundation, which aims to make sure all children are “well read, well fed, and well cared for.”

The event also benefited the Greenwich Parks & Rec Foundation and the Friends of James Beard Benefits.
