Greenwich Police are tweeting that 10 people were transported to the hospital after sustaining injuries Wednesday morning when a transit bus crashed at the intersection of East Putnam Ave and Sound Beach Ave in Old Greenwich.

The incident is under investigation. A lane has been temporarily closed.
According to a witness, the victims were elderly and disabled.
