A Greenwich man faces multiple charges from Greenwich Police following an incident on Sunday at about 12:30am.
On Sept 10, Greenwich police responded to a Riverside residence on a report of an abandoned 911 call.
Investigation revealed that the offender, Jayen D Madia, 42, of 22 Oak Drive in Riverside, had caused the victims of the incident to lock themselves in rooms out of fear that he would try to stop them from calling 911.
He was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Interfering with a 911 Call.
Initially Mr. Madia was held at the police station because he did not make his $1,000 bond. After he was able to make bond, he was arrested again.
In a separate incident at 12:25 on Sept 10, police responded to a Riverside residence on a report that Mr. Madia had violated conditions of release from the previous incident.
Madia was determined to have violated his conditions of release. Specifically, he made contact when he texted the victim, and went to her residence.
Mr. Madia was found to have texted the victim and showed up at her residence.
He was then charged with Criminal Trespass 1st degree and Violating Conditions of Release 2nd degree at 12:25 on the 10th. His bond was set at $15,000.
