Upon interview, Rajput did say that he received counterfeit bills, did go to the Restaurant, and did use the bills there.

The United States Secret Service was contacted to assist in this investigation as it involves counterfeit US currency.

Rajput was charged with Larceny 6th degree and Forgery 1st degree. He was held on a $500 cash bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court set for July 27, 2015.
