An application has been submitted to the Dept of Public Works Buildings division to demolish a home at 139 North Street in Greenwich.
The single family home, which sits on .73 of an acre, was built in 1909. The house is in the R-20 district. The owner is 139 North Street, LLC, which in turn is registered to Red Canoe Partners, LLC, which is registered to John Kavounas and Laura Dahm of Birch Lane in Greenwich.
Because the home was built before 1940, a written letter of objection submitted to the Building Division of DPW will trigger an additional 45 day stay of demolition.
The 3,252 sq ft home last sold on March 31, 2017 $1,900,000.
