Letter to the Editor submitted by State Rep Livvy Floren, Aug 28, 2017
On Tuesday, September 12, registered Republicans in Greenwich will vote in a
Primary to choose six candidates for the Board of Estimate and Taxation.
The slate is stellar; the seven candidates are all qualified. However, to me, Leslie
Tarkington is a stand out.
Leslie is an incumbent – currently serving her 12th year
on the finance panel.
She is diligent and tireless – a member of the Budget Committee, chair of the Law Committee, liaison to the Assessor’s Office, member of the Greenwich High School Performing Arts Center (MISA) Building Committee, and former member of the Nathaniel Witherell governance board.
Leslie is a fiscal conservative and makes tough decisions, based upon thorough research and facts – not random opinion.
Please go to the polls on September 12 and cast a vote for Leslie Tarkington.
Hon. Livvy Floren
State Representative, 149th District
