On Tuesday, September 5 the Junior League of Greenwich will open enrollment for their Positively More Program.

This community project is designed for 11 and 12 year-old girls who live in or attend school in Greenwich.

Positively More takes a positive approach to youth development and builds upon the many strengths of adolescent girls.

When young girls exhibit self-confidence and resilience and feel supported by an array of adults, they are more likely to set high educational goals, express strengths such as self-discipline and engage in activities that are beneficial to their physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.

Positively More provides all of this to the girls who participate in this program and we would be thrilled to have your daughter join us!

This program aims to:
1. Give girls the tools to navigate sticky friendship situations
2. Lessen the escalation of conflicts in personal relationships
3. Apply lessons learned through role play
4. Provide a safe environment to bring up questions about their middle school life

Four one-day sessions offered at JLG Headquarters for the 2017-2018 academic year, you choose one of them.

Saturday, January 27, 2018
Saturday, February 24, 2018
Saturday, April 21, 2018

The sessions run 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Sessions are free with snacks and lunch provided. Each session will consist of workshops moderated by professionals in the fields of teen counseling, youth services, social media & prevention/education.
