Steve Cola, 46, of 341 Wilton Rd in Westport was arrested by Greenwich Police at about 9:00pm on on Aug 16 and charged with Breach of Peace 2.
According to Greenwich Police, an off duty officer at Greenwich Hospital observed three people involved in a physical altercation taking place in an elevator while the door was open.
The officer separated the parties. Several additional officers responded to the scene.
On scene investigation revealed that the offender, Mr. Cola, attempted to strike the victim several times while the victim’s adult son was attempting to keep the two parties separated.
The offender was charged with Breach of Peace 2. He was able to post his bond of $1,000 and has a court date of Aug 17, 2017.
