For the third year, Adopt-A-Dog will participate in the nationwide adoption event – “Clear the Shelters” on Saturday, August 19.
adoptions coordinator Kelly Duggan said Clear the Shelters is a fantastic opportunity to save a homeless animal’s life by adopting and hopefully clearing the shelters to help save more lives.
The event runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm and all adoption fees will be waived that day.
Clear the Shelters was created when NBC 4 New York / WNBC and Telemundo 47 / WNJU partnered to find homeless pets forever homes.
Clear the Shelters helps Adopt-A-Dog with its mission, which is to save, socialize and secure loving homes for unwanted or abandoned dogs.
