Mary Musca, 98

Mary Musca, (nee Calabro) a lifelong resident of Greenwich died peacefully on August 4, 2017 at age 98.

Mary was born in Greenwich to John and Catherine (nee Di Angelis) Calabro. Mary was a professional hairdresser in the early days and also worked for the Greenwich Country Day School as a baker. Mary was a dependable volunteer at St Roch’s Church, as a member of St Ann’s Society, church choir and Feast committee.

She served her community as an Election Poll Moderator for many years. She was a devoted wife and predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Frank (d. 2007). Beloved mother of Frank (wife Veronica) Musca and James J. (wife Sheila) Musca; cherished sister of John Calabro and the late Vincetta LaDore, Theresa Fado, Frances Marino and Nichols Calabro; devoted grandmother of Chris, Mary Jane, Kathleen, Cheryl and Eric and great grandmother of 6; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

To honor her life family will receive friends on Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home 134 Hamilton Ave Greenwich.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 11 a.m. at St. Roch’s followed by entombment at Putnam Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to St. Roch Church, 10 St. Roch Ave. Greenwich, CT 06830.
