The Off-Beat Players (OBP), will perform the Fiddler on the Roof from August 2 to August 5 at Arch Street Teen Center.
The Off-Beat Players is a nonprofit Greenwich-based theatre company devoted to allowing individuals of all backgrounds and abilities to perform in a theater program.
“It develops confidence and brings people together,” said Emily Bass, the producer of the show. Bass has been working with Off-Beat Players for four summers.
The organization has existed for over 15 years. Each summer, it performs a fully staged musical with a live orchestra.
The performance features many interesting features that will make the performance a more vivid experience. Among them is an expansion of the stage, as well as actors flying on harnesses and performing in the aisles.
There is also a small orchestra made up of eight musicians.

“The show is all-inclusive. Everyone has a line or solo,” said Bass.
Fiddler on the Roof is set during the Russian Revolution in a Russian village.
The production revolves around Tevye, a Jewish milkman who is the father of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his Jewish traditions as outside influences encroach upon the family’s lives.
“As the play goes on, traditions break little by little,” said Nicole Macchiavello, who plays Golde, the wife of Teyve.
Tickets will be $20.00 and the performance will start at 7:30pm.
