For 17 years the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich’s Camp Simmons has been hosting this event.
The campers felt holiday spirit on Friday when Santa Claus arrived in a fire truck, along with some fire fighters from Greenwich’s North Street Station.
Screams of joy were heard throughout the camp as 150 campers, CITs and staff gathered to be cooled off by the hose at the hands of Santa.
When it was all over, only smiles were seen throughout Camp Simmons, as every Camper, CIT, and staff were filled with glee, grasping candy canes provided by St. Nick.
