Arthur Koellmer
Arthur Koellmer passed away on July 16, 2017 in Greenwich, CT. Arthur was born on August 20, 1948 to John N. and Marie (Fink) Koellmer in Greenwich, CT.
He was a lifelong resident of Greenwich and graduated from Greenwich High School. He served in the US Army Security Agency. On May 27, 1972, Arthur married his high school sweetheart Margaret Hobby in Bad Aibling, Germany, while he served in the Army. Arthur was employed by AT & T for over 30 years before retiring in 2000.
After retiring he worked for White Contractors as a technician for another 10 years. Arthur loved model trains, he loved fixing and repairing anything, and he loved electronics. Arthur was a master of all trades.
Above all else, Arthur was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His sense of humor and kindness will be missed by all. Arthur is survived by his wife Margaret of 45 years, his sons Michael John (Stacey) and Arthur, Jr. (Cari).
He is the loving grandfather of Kristin, Aidan, and Kyle, and beloved brother of Philip. He was predeceased by his brothers Richard and John Jr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 19, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Rd. #3, Greenwich, CT.
A mass will be held on Thursday July 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 178 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich, CT.
Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 399 North St., Greenwich, CT.
