Off-Beat Players, Inc. (OBP), the Greenwich-based theater company devoted to teen and young adult performers with wide-ranging abilities and disabilities, will perform the smash hit “Bye Bye Birdie” at the Arch Street Teen Center Wednesday, August 5 through Saturday, August 8, at 7:30pm.
Bye Bye Birdie has book by Michael Stewart, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Lee Adams. Originally produced by Edward Padula, and produced by arrangement with TAMS-WITMARK MUSIC LIBRARY, Inc., Lexington Avenue, NY.
Based in Greenwich, Off-Beat Players currently includes about 40 teens and young adults who come together each summer to produce a fully staged musical. Established in 2007, the group is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit charitable and educational organization. Learn more about OBP at www.offbeatplayers.org.
